As specialists in rubberwood, we have pioneered the process of direct extraction from rubberwood logs in this region, after extensive research and development.

In other words, we have developed the technology of producing large turning furniture components directly from processed rubberwood logs. With this innovative technology, we no longer need to use laminated blocks as raw material for the turning process.

The benefits we have gained include a shortened process time and optimising the usage of materials, which translate into time and cost savings. At the same time, the direct extraction process also reduces rejection rates and provides us with the flexibility to fashion a wider range of products.

Most importantly, the process enables us to manufacture products to client specifications which are :

  • more attractive, with no joints required;
  • stronger, as a result of minimal uneven shrinkage; and
  • lighter, with a hollow core.
